James Pilc, M.D. is a Personal Meditative Guide, Healer and Author. After being diagnosed with bone marrow cancer in 2005, he came to meditation as a complementary therapy to help with healing. His hope is to help those in need of physical, emotional, energetic or spiritual healing and to further investigate the connection between Western Medicine, Eastern Medicine and Meditative Self-Healing. He teaches group guided meditation classes to lead people to find a place of peace and holds individual Meditative Self-Healing Sessions to guide people to find the Core Causative Agent of their dis-ease and heal themselves.
Qigong is accepted as an ancient discipline (estimates range from 2000 to 5000 years old) that combines breath, posture and movement to promote the flow of Qi throughout the body, balancing yin and yang which promotes health. As a healing art, Qigong practitioners focus on prevention and self-healing, through balancing the body's energy meridians and enhancing the innate capacity of the body to heal.
